Remove the sternum and thymus to expose the pericardial sac and major pulmonary and systemic vessels. The trachea and esophagus are shown entering the mediastinum through the superior thoracic aperture. The inferior thoracic aperture is delineated from the diaphragm musculature. 40 x 26 x 30 cm.
